  • Connect the cable of your phone modem to the input connection on the splitter
  • Connect one end of the coaxial cable to one of the splitter outputs and the other end to the phone modem.
  • Connect one end of the second coaxial cable to the other splitter output and other end of that same cable to the modem purchased.

  • Locate the modem ID (MAC address) for your new modem, typically located on the bottom of the modem.
  • Contact us to activate your new modem.

Self-Installation of Spectrum Internet Service

Step 1: Connect Modem

  • Connect one end of the coax cable to a cable outlet and the other end to the modem.
